Why does electric outage occur as it rains? Whats the scientific reason behind it? Is it because we have old electric poles, something about the wire, etc..? Or by a person or a system(maybe to avoid calamities)?
Apr 18, 2020I will make very simple. That happens because of water, wind and electricity. In Ethiopia the Electric lines are above ground and in mid air supported by poles...so with rain comes strong gusts of winds so if that poles falls by that wind..the electric wires will fall with it and touch the ground....and since ITS RAINING ther is water every where...pools of water. And cause the water isnt pure water it can transmit electricity so everyone with in the range of that puddle of water is gonna dance to his or her death. But in some other countries the electric wires are underground covered with a non conducting substance. Thats what i think anyways.... otherwise its cause ELPA is crazy.
