Very urgent. I have been in my period for over a month now. I thought it was not a big deal because I have irregular period and it didn't come for 5 month or something like that. but now I am a little worried, is it normal? Can some one confirm it is or do I need a medical appointment?( I am 19 and my period started when I was 14)
Aug 11, 2021Yes you need a medical appointment. I had it for 3 weeks and after I went to the hospital I got checked for ultrasound and everything was fine. But the blood tests were terrible. I had low blood oxygen levels.(I'm not sure of the term) It was so low that I was immediately assigned for a blood transfusion. So go get checked immediately cause if you were in an accident right now you could potentially die because of that.

Aug 11, 2021Go get check I had similar issue and they gave me a medicine to stop the period but it happened several times so I had a routine check up. The period will affect your blood level so you will probably be anemic. Eventually I was diagnosed with PCOS and was prescribed OCP and it regulates it but once I stop taking it it goes back to the old cycle.
