Aug 09, 2021Well I think it depends on the person but no one comes out untouched. People who cheat are humans too. Wronging someone will make you feel guilty. They might feel free right after they break up but as time gets by their conscious gets to them and they’ll be filled with regret. And perhaps that’s why they jump from one relationship to the next (some of them) because it’s an escape mechanism. The excitement of a new relationship masks the guilt and shame of the previous one but not for long. So they break another heart and jump on to the next but that doesn’t mean they move on fast. It just means they will remain a shitty person for as long as they do this coz they never allowed themselves to go through the pain of looking within and fixing what’s broken.
