What is air fluid level in radiology? I can't seem to understand it. Please medicos out here help
Apr 13, 2020On an abdominal x-ray, there are small horizontal lines usually between 3 -6 cms within the bowel that marks a difference between the floating air and the fluid... The best analogy I used is imagining a glass of water, no matter how much you tilt it, its going to remain parallel to the ground... this is similar to the fluid in the bowel
