When i restart my phone, it powers up again right? So did it really turn off itself and turn on again? How did it remember to turn on?

Apr 11, 2020Yes it did turn off. Turning off and restarting don't have much difference in terms of how the instruction is sent to the hardware. When you restart your phone, it goes through the regular shutdown process but at the end an extra signal is sent to your phone's hardware to power up again. If you had selected power off only, that extra signal won't be sent and it stays turned off. Love your question btw. Keep asking stuff like this!

Apr 11, 2020It took me minutes to understand ur question...the second dude answered it well.
Apr 11, 2020The hardware continues to listen for signals . . . Same goes for alarm if u set an alarm and shutdown ur phone completely it will ring On time
Apr 11, 2020When you choose restart it's not like power off your phones Bootloader actually waiting to turn on your phone because it had a signal sent to it to turn on your phone the minute it shuts down that's why
Apr 11, 2020It is called boot loop. Try pressing Vol Down + Power Button, if this doesn't work try hard resetting your phone.
