What's the point in even arguing? Even if scientists come up with a vaccine through genuine hard work, religious zealots would still give credit to God. This ain't a warning. Diseases happen. They cull the weak. Basic natural selection.

How many times did the world end in 2 thousand years? The have been many plagues, far more deadly. The world will end for some people but we will push on like we have before

And this is for those of you who say COVID 19 is "yegzer kuta" According to your idea the only way we will be fine is if God says stop to this pandemic. If God didnt stop it we will perish, any man cant stop him. But my question is this the so called prevention mechanisms are stoping the transmission. Like social distancing, washing hands, sanitizers. China almost completely stops the transmission. Does this mean we just stoped a pandemic ordered by God? Did we just stopped God. Am afraid not, i dont think the God you "worship" is this small. If he were punishing us distance wouldnt matter, alcohol wouldnt matter. And any of you who claim this as "yegzer kuta" if you really believe this theory then you are WRONG. Go to your room and ask God to make you a better person, a person who loves his brother and sister. But not overload our newsfeed with your bulshit idea

As a firm athiest, I always find the problem with religion is the phenomenon known as the attribution error. This means that whatever happens good or bad, religion or faithful people associate it with the divine intervention. Only in hindsight do religious people admit things aren't done by god such as the crusades and world wars. Now even so, there are some that take this attribution error to the next level claiming that god works not only through natural disasters and humanly uncontrollable events but also through people. I say to these people if you want to attribute every thing to god, why do you forget to attribute your daily menial tasks suck as have sex, cook food and hangout with your friends to god as well. It's really a psychological disorder that stems from an inter personal delusion that you are taught from birth. But I thank the poster to at least be able to ask this question. I tip my hat to you sir. But having such a brain, I would suggest you think with it as opposed to the socially accepted stop thinking and start believing dogma.

What ever happens religious ppl gonna connect it to GOD...if positive thing happened you gonna say "it's a mercy"... if negative thing happened you gonna say "ye egzihabihr kuta"... but i don't think that is how GOD work..... Wealthy ppl control z world that is the truth, in this case they want to transform z generation... i mean they created a disease that lead to individuality, separation, internet socialization.... which gonna lead to the use of current technologies... drones, satelites, electrical cars, self drive cars, gbs, online shopping(ebay, amazon, alibaba,... ), computerized communications, wifi, online teaching, work frm home, on and on... you may not be seen these in africa much, but that is what they reached in developed countries.... even how many of you noticed in zis short time...mobile banking customers doubled, deliveries started promotion, ppl started working home...the next thing you know is self drive cars gonna deliver farm results city to city....this is all lead by the created prevetation methods not the disease...So, after months for us after years we gonna see the world in control of machines.... GOD has nothing to do with hurting the ppl he created.. we humans create good and evil. Few powerful and wealthy ppl shape the world starting way back... your only chance is to create a system to be part of it and STEP A HEAD or stay home and pray,... and with your pray ask GOD to punish these people in hell.

A page in a history book shows u how many times a plague/disaster has come and the religious claim either it is a warning or the end of times but when it is all over they say it is the grace of God the same is gonna happen here but I will ask u what I get they say to us the unbelievers “u don’t believe bse ur not humble enough to admit ur wrong or ur not especially” that I think is unjustified but they also claim with certainty about everything as if they know the mind of God how is that humble and claiming it will treat one group differently over an other bse we r holier or sth can anyone be more self centered and judgmental than that;

Omg , This is stupid, let me ask u, if scientists stop searching for vaccine or cure, and just pray instead , do u really think it will be solved?
