Yes, it's wrong but in a world where individuals identification is based on certain external criteria it's hard not too. Which doesn't make it any right yet even as an individual our thoughts and values are reformed by some natural or socialy given identity hence we can't blame people's for the inclusiveness of their action. It's not about the range of the group it's the lack of individualism as a whole.

Maybe it's because of many factors advocating hate towards what your conscious mind blames. Think about it. You think the way you think because of your position in society. Because of your education, experience, logic, beliefs and knowledge. A person who has 1 of those factors different than yours might have a different perspective. And the problem is that many many many people have different perspectives than you. Negativity is their outcome because they were fed negativity. In your childhood -If you learned to hate your nation -If a group had belittled you for so long -If you were told that you are superior -If you were gave the notion that people hated you because of your identity You would be resentful. As an adult -If you suffered at the hands of individuals representing a certain group -If you were mistreated because of your identity -If you were harmed because you were different -If you were fed information that made you bitter You would have an illogical and injust opinion and hate towards a certain group. The range of the group depends on the range of your input (the negativity you ate) while truly, as Lady_bug said, the issue is the lack of individuality. From you and from everyone who thinks like you (which is a lot in this country)

I think the reason for this hate is the ethnic federalism. Because all the leaders are there to represent their ethnicities. Then a conflict between them leads to conflict between peoples who they represent. So removing ethinc federalism is the key to this problem
