The major reason of Sexual molestation cannot exactly be listed but Curiosity and desperate needs of sexual satisfaction can be the reason.
Truly, Unlimited needs of sexuality was being tabooed among the society which doesn't lead them to do whatever they want and such type of Sexuality are usually done by those people who has previous sexual experienced.
The second reason, Curiosity has large content in itself because Pornography, nudity, Masturbation, Sexual fantasy are related to this. Literally, never experienced Curious people are less likely to directly rape matured enough person but might try as a Pedo. But Pornography and nudity can desperately increase sexual fantasies that later leads to try it on an voluntary actual person (prostitute), according to some data.
Beside all this, Pornography is being traditionalized among majority which changed the view about sex, gender, rape, taboos. As an example,

- Normalization of Homosexuality
- Group sex fantasy
- The influencing tabooed Titles of porn (Brother fucked his sister, The Horny cousin, An old guy raped 14 yrs old girl and so on)
So, Yes. But, this doesn't mean it has influenced everyone.
As an example, in most of third world where sexual acts are tabooed in are highly affected by pornography and has increased the rate. India and Africa as an example.
