Anyone diagnosed with BPD with combined OCD, had professional help but found it to be useless, or having to be treatment resistant, if so how do you cope with it, what gets you by, what keeps you of the razor, what keeps you from ending it everytime those thoughts flood your mind. Ps, am not a believer, so God and his ideals are no use to me.
Aug 21, 2019I'm not diagnosed with either but as someone who's had anxiety (and panic attacks) since childhood and mild depression going into adulthood, I can sympathize. It is hard imagine what you're going through, especially in a country where the problem is barely acknowledged and with almost non-existent professional help. So here are my two cents. You probably already know this, but I'm gonna tell you anyways. First, it's absolutely not your fault. And some things are just out of our control. Kind of ironic, telling this to someone with OCD, but admitting that some things are out of our hands helps relieve some of the burden. Try and let the world sort it self out, as hard as that may seem. Second, find your support system. A support system is something or someone you can rely on. Next, try to establish a routine. Have some things you can do regularly. Exercising every day is a good start. And finally, please, keep seeking professional help. Take your meds. They may not cure you but they're still necessary even though they may not seem like it. Good luck. Hope things get better for you, friend.
