Let me tell you this... We are somehow experiencing the same things.
1) The special person I have never had and I will never have, The one who cares about my future than anyone does, my life consultant and the one who always stand with my attitudes and shows me the path of my future was my Dad. Really, all this words can't explain well. As a God's will, I lost him a month ago.
2) I am also about to join University, but I don't look like at all while my friends got enough gadgets
3) Even, even, You don't believe if you really see my phone. I don't even know how I'm gonna use PDF and another educational things in it.
4) Before, I only rely on my father and I don't trust any other on my life, even my mommy. After his death, I have felt same as you do.
But truly they don't even think like that. Maybe they want to do everything to you but have financial issue that they don't want to tell you. They don't want to disappoint their children with the word "I have no enough money in my pocket"; so they probably tries to cover it with another word.
So, don't blame your family. They don't tell you what they are going through and U will not know.
