This world is a test from God (whatever you belief is). You get your reward in heaven or you will get f*cked in hell. This world will never get better but worse! Why do I get the feeling that you're a person that will force yourself on someone and then when that person accuse you of assualt, you will reply "don't lie you wanted me to do that deep down." Just because your mind can't comprehend a world without God, that doesn't mean there aren't people that can. If you actually can self reflect, you are part of the problem, with this, my beliefs or nothing kind of thinking, not even acknowledging the fact that people can phantom a reality that would clash yours. Like JP said clean your room before you criticise the world. To answer your purpose question, I think if you noticed, craving for peace and paradise isn't the only purpose people have. So there will always be purpose whether peace or war, love or hate.
