The reality is women at the time were married off when they reached puberty and matured faster. The reality is you are demonizing a certain culture and time that is thousands of years ago because it doesn't fit with your particular time (21st century), particular culture (post modern culture) and particular place (the western world). If you still disagree, then look at your own grandparents. Didn't most if not all our grandparents get married off when they were young? Do you call them pedophiles? And this is recent even. The women that you are victimizing right now, Aisha r.a, do you think if she was truly a victim of such a gruesome act she would have lived narrating 2,210 hadith, preaching the deen and defending her husband, our prophet p.b.u.h with such severity when his name is inappropriately mentioned? I think not. Search for how their relationship had been, it's a marriage so many take as an example and wish for.
Aisha (ra) was an exceptional women even from childhood. The reason she married the prophet (saw) because to get educatation and training for the purpose of Islam (as her parents were already muslims), utilize her capacity for the religion of Islam. This has benefited all of us till this day. Had she not married to him. We Muslims now wouldn't have known our religion this way.
Her memory, intelligence, knowledge, understanding of science, medicine, poetry,...are what kept our knowledge of our religion going. She moved in early with our Prophet (saw) so she can learn from him and teach us everything we know now. She is one of the MOST RESPECTED SCHOLARS in Islam. Because of her we know more than 2000 hadith. They lived together for bout 10 years till He(saw) passed away in her hands.
She is one of the most confident and smart people to exist. She is also the most outspoken person at their time and still now. She served in battles against the quraish and even after the prophet(saw) passed away she had her own army. No doubt, Without her we would have been deprived from the teaching of our religion. without her we wouldn't know as much as we know about our religion or about the life our prophet.
Her love for our prophet Muhammad (saw) was incredible. Her love to God and our religion was even greater. She's the real queen
