Hey guys, So my PC is Windows 10 pro version 1803 and the version is not supported anymore. I have been trying to update it, but it keeps failing with an error code0xc1900101 I have tried some recommended fixes, but nothing seems to work. There is more than adequate memory and I am not using any antivirus except windows defender. So the question is what can I do to update my PC? Thanks in advance.

Jun 15, 2021The error code indicates you are trying to install other version of windows 10 over 5he existing one . The solution is if you have space on your harddrive make it two partitions then back your files to the new disk like localdisk D: then turn off your pc and boot to your new windows10*.iso file then when it asks you where you want to install the os Select c drive and format and install your new os . You won't lose any files
