Career kehone you just try different things, have different experiences ezim ezam but with consistency If it's for life, from an Islamic point of view, It is to worship God (alone, without any partner). In chapter 51,verse 56 Allah (SA) says, I have not created the jinn and the men, except that they worship me. It means we were already created for worship so if we're not worshipping God and then we're worshipping something or someone else. And that worship besides God will only enslave us. Whether we believe in God or not (even if you're an atheist, Muslim, Christian, Hindu..whatever) we already worship something or someone. Some of the thing we worship besides God are our money, intelligence, status, profession beauty, society, family, spouses... Its totally okay to have and enjoy these things but the problem occurs when we make them our priority, our purpose and then it conusmes us. These things are only gifts from Allah. Its also something that perishes or dies. The only thing that doesn't die is our relationship with our lord (even after we die in this world the hereafter continues..) When we say worshipping demo it doesn't always mean praying all day and night , reciting The Quran allll the time, even though these are very important, doing things that you enjoy, giving time for your friends, career, education, family.. are in itself act of worship as. (Because we're staying away from the few harmful thing and keeping up with the halal) Our purpose has been already told us. What we have do is find the balance of life, in enjoying the gifts we're given and not be drowned innt.
