Am not interested about such matters much but I think u forgot the fact that jesus came to this earth not show his superiority but his sympathy for the sheeps who were suffering from the fire in the hell &Jesus praying means not because he don't have the power to make things happen by his own but because he was aware of the people and his followers who were ready to worship him instead of his father whom is reffered as "አብ" in the Ethiopian orthodox church teachings.
