First up, I'm so sure you're blowing this way out of proportion. You probably heard a tease or something then took it too seriously. If you leave it, it will all somehow fix itself because this is college kids trying to find entertainment in everything so this tease will be forgotten quick. If it's only a group of people demo just ignore them. You should be glad you found out they're bad people to hang out with so early. You'll look back at this in a couple years and find the situation funny, so it's not worth changing colleges cause of this.
