Everything in tewahdo is coming from the bible and not a single thing is done without a reason e.g. the foods we eat, the cloth we wear during ፀሎት mnamn everything ... not a single finger is lifted with out a reason. On that note let's look at why we use this instruments you call "ኋላ ቀር" 1st. In ብሉ ኪዳን people used animals as sacrifices but on ሀዲስ ኪዳን we use prayer mainly mezmur as our sacrifice. As አቤል and ቃየል did one sacrificed the most good animal (abel) and the other sacrificed his most bad cattle(qayel) and Ggod saw abel's commitment and took his sacrifice. Which means just sacrificing something doesn't satisfie your God it has to be choosen. How tewhdo makes her sacrifice (mezmur) the chosen best? Which brings me into my second point 2nd. ቅዱስ ያሬድ was the one who wrote all this melodies(ዜማ) you listen in our church not a single thing was changed. He wrote all the melodies in the help of God. Meaning it was sent to him. He heared angles singing from the heaven and wrote them down. I wish i can tell you more but i myself need to learn more about this. 3rd. Yes it looks cool to use modern instruments but its wrong from tewahdos perspective cuz everysingle instruments in the church was created according to same meaning. like the drum we use its look, how u use it, the move movements everything has their meaning directly taken from the bible, but for the piano it wasn't created for religious purpose and it has no meaning to let the church use it, cuz nothing happens with out a meaning in this church. 4th. You guys have crazy melodies and instruments without which you can't give meanings to...sometimes i get really sad when i hear a song(your mezmur) with amharic dance beat, even edm, i have heared wolayta dance beat, pop beat, R&B , rock😳😔 everything you hear on the billboards was directly converted into your mezmur. Most of all why would you use a ragae beat in your memur its coming from rastafariyanizm eko😳. All this modern instruments and melodies and beat were created for our ስጋዊ part letting us forget the world around us and dance. If i start to hit a table with amharic beat you woulf want to get up and dance come on you wont remember about God.How are you going to thank God when you don't even think about your soul in the first place. You are dancing in your chuch eko. I think your mezmurs are like ቃየል's cuz you only cared about your satisfaction. 5th. How is it different to go to Protestant chuch and a music consert cuz the church not only does it the same as a music consert but better And if you are really tewahdo go to ቤተ ክርስቲያን, learn in ሰንበት ት/ቤት and ask this question they will give you a much better answer than I or anybody did here. How could you decide to believe something with out learning about it. Don't be afraid to ask anything to any ቄስ or ዲያቆን there is nothing the church has to be afraid of.
