Do you guys think our country should move on to a free market economic system or do you think the government should control necessary areas in the market? Also how do you think things will play out if the government let go of the market to have private players play in the field?

May 20, 2021Mixed economic market is preferable for Ethiopia. Free market is present if selling and buying good from everyone is allowed and marketing is over hand of buyers and sellers while fixed Market is sellers and buyers are under control of Gov't and so is marketing. So, I believe that Free market somehow should be allowed inside the country for entrepreneur but daily goods should be controlled to maintain life expectancy and wealth range. But Foreign market must totally be under control of the gov't form some reasons. If foreign marketing are free economic system, Everyone can sell his product out of the country, can earn his dollar and deposit it in foreign bank and so on. So earning the currency in foreign bank is economically harmful for the nation which could make our currency fall and make it worthless infront of World, so inflation violates. On the other hand, Marketers turns their faces to international market than the internal so they sells their good to the internal country in foreign level and if the citizen couldn't afford they totally turn their face to international stocks.
