Ethiopia is a rich country acting like it's poor just to get foreign aid and benefits. Do the math. Tele is owned by the government right? So where does all that cash go to?

This is a funny comment section 😂😂😂😂 Ibis asked why Ethiopia is poor, people respond it's because people are poor, well people are poor because Ethiopia is poor😂.. This comment section shows why we are poor

Corruption Uneducated and ignorant governance Solution is getting rid of officials who aren't helping the country and educating peoples about tolerance, patriotism, peace and other Teaching how difference can make us look unique and that it could help us if we could unite huh idk. I think it could help us grow

Lemme say this, maybe it is offensive for some ppl. "Ethiopia were poor country, is poor country, if we continue like this we will be poor country!" No need to ማደባበስ and daydream for something we have never seen. I heard some people saying "We were great!" and I ask "When?" Even in the time Old North Ethiopia's known as Golden era (13th century), there are hunger and terrible famine (Gedle Teklehaimanot can proof us). So, I can't say that there was a time that Ethiopia (Either Imperial North Ethiopia, Sultanate East Ethiopia, Oromo land or others) is great. We may had a wealthy Kingdom or Government, but people are still poor and less life expectancy. I'm not saying there wasn't intelligent and hardworking ppl but it is like IQ without EQ is worthless. So my opinion is let's accept our previous poorness and let's build the future rather than daydreaming. There might so many ppl who finds this idea offensive. But whatever is felt, reply↩️ button is available.

We're poor because of our stupid people and their culture

i think its because we failed to learn from mistakes as a nation. if u view ethiopian history its same as we are facing now..except the technology

Fkr tefa ale zefagnu

Our contry is poor cuz there are many people who are suffering from poverty for instance they face many difficulties to eat 3 times a day and so on and i think ምቀኝነትን ማስወገድ is the main solution cuz habshans dont love when someone succeed

I think the ethiopian citizens are don't hard work

Because most Ethiopians can't get enough food and also have no enough material and people who can afford that and also on technology, education, work we r not that much educated and well known and also corruption, war, racism this all thing make us poor

Our programing is poor so u need to reprogram our subconscious mind, dr bruce lipton say dehenet bezer yetelalefal yaa malet bedem ena zeremel sayhon be programing neu so we need to work on mindset

ita all about mentality most of people programed poor mindset sowe need to work on mindset

The obvious Reson for our poverity is the 1Government system 2 our poor perspective about capitalism Even the government Force the market system specially On import and export

I think Ethiopia is poor because of the recurring mindset of 'government should give us stuff'. People expect gov to - educate the youth - work on infrastructure - create jobs And it created a vicious cycle of government owning everything and bloating and losing money on everything ( you should see how logistics is handled and how much people make over it ). Solution: - more private companies - more free market and light regulation - reflection of the real market ( our currency is already inflated we are just differing the inevitable ) - more stable politics

We don work hard and alart for new things Work hard inhance our education and see all new things

The passion for work in this country is in the graveyard and aside that a few passionate peoples who hardly want to work are already hurted by nepotism or corruption itself. I don't want to talk about racism it's already through our veins.

Lack of Creativity..mostly caused by lack of Knowledge & Wisdom...hence Poverty

Ethiopia is poor because its people are poor(both in terms of wealth and in terms of mental ability)

Corruption is the problem And it can be solved if we could have loyal power holders

Work habit in ethiopia is poor, hizbe yelele toxic nw, they depend on others. All them erdatas reaching the poor is literally available all around the country but we *Young people* are lazy to utilize the resourse yalewn. We need to work haaardd

ስራ እንመርጣለን, እንንቃለን.. እሱም በጣም አስተዋፅኦ ያደርጋል

For me the major problem is we forgot/ made to forgot our endogenous knowledge every key is left there.
