Do any of you know a person who got infected with covid pneumonia? It is my mother and she recently recovered from covid. Now her diagnosis says she has pneumonia and the WBC in her body has raised. on the internet i read about covid pneumonia and how hard it is to differentiate bn regular pneumonia and covid pneumonia.... please any medical students or doctors, i please need your help... i need info on how serious it can grow, what i should do and everything please!!! her symptoms are Shivering and chills Fever Vomiting Muscle (hand and leg ache) Fatigue, tiredness, loss of appetite , cough, sweating. PLEASE HELP ME SHE IS THE REASON I LIVE!

If your mother recoverd it means she has been tested twice and viral replication is not seen...which means mostly the harshest disease phase has been passed. "regular pneumonia" or CAP and covid pneumonia are not differentiated easily but xray confers huge help so... xrays should be taken in a reliable diagnostic centre like "wdase". Some bacterial pneumonias are more severe than covid therefore... sputum test is important (sputum kale). The symptons you mentioned are typical to different diseases so...a pertinant investigation is needed... ih happens to be bacterial pneumonia antibiotics are given not more than for a week. If CoVid no drug but... supplementary rx like fesash bedenb mewsed (vomiting alachew)...adkami sra alemesrat...vitamins are also recommended. My impression is your mother is not yet in a danger zone... proper treatment gn gdeta new!!

Her symptoms also suggest TB infection or it might be pneumonia. Take her to hospital or if you can't afford it tenatabia hedew then can be referred to general hospitals(i recommend the latter) and they will have other tests done and start on medications. The earlier the diagnosis and the treatment the better.
