You are doing well. Not everybody is fast paced and a quick learner. You may feel like all your classmates are way ahead of you and they may be but just work on your own pace. I also used to prefer watching lecture videos because I dont retain what I read from books. Time management is key, if you consume a lot of time to study then you gotta make sure you read on the daily, otherwise you won't be able to catch up. Believe me, most of med students feel inadequate, it's a struggle. Yes, nejeeb is great but tend to take way too much time so dont waste your time watching all his videos. Be selective. Instead use kaplan videos, I know they are a bore but they cover the basics. Also make sure you learn visually for anatomy classes (pics). Finally you are not the only one having it hard, hang on!
