(Stolen from reddit) Engineering students who had a rough start how bad did you guys do? I need a boost so I'm asking engineering students how tough it was for you(in terms of GPA) and where you are now.
Feb 17, 2020Im an electrical engineering student and i did soooo bad at first. Like i failed maths 1 imagine that. My gpa was no more than 2.0 and i failed two major courses in consecutive years. By 3rd yr i knew it was gonna take me 7 yrs to graduate instead of 5. I almost gave up and quit but i started a distance degree on the side as an option and continued. But i had hit rock bottom academically so nothing scared me😂there was no way to go but up. I was taking only 3 courses that semester. I worked really hard and scored 3.0 after that i never scored lower than that. I'm on my 6 yr and im graduating nxt yr and my cgpa is 2.8 its not bad considering the first 3yrs 😊
Feb 18, 2020I'm an architecture student now 3 rd year..i had shity grades first year first semester...that put me in lots of tension ..yaw worrying how my family are gone react to it...but after i tried to take the major courses seriously... While keppin the others low key..(studyin when final comes mnamn)..then now i have better grades...nd what matters for me this time isn't the grade much...its the experience and knowledge u get..if u have those u can achieve whats comin for u
