We do all of that, though it's not as scheduled and prominent as Orthodox Christians. The limited days of the year and the veganism weren't mentioned in the bible though... It's built within the Orthodox Culture. So the Tsom is like not eating all day. We don't have the no meat no milk no egg kind of Tsom.
