I think we would. I don't see any other way. We have to. The Europeans didn't want to colonize Africa out of nowhere. They wanted it because as they advanced they needed more resource. So they came to a less developed continent with lots of resource. So if we were have become advanced as they were, in technology and industry, I think circumstances would force us to do that. So yeah, we would have. But this doesn't even slightly mean that what they did was right. It was shameful and it's wrong.
