I don't think anybody still believes that now. I think it's about trust. Nobody trusts anyone out of their ethnicity. And nobody is trying to fix that. I think Abiy is the closest person to close the gap, but it got him hated by everyone. The politics doesn't work. People are just very Nationalist right now. That's why anti-ethnic based politicians are being more Nationalistic themselves. So even if it doesn't work, politicians are pushing the idea, because they just want to win.
