Apr 16, 2021They filtered sand and melted sand quartz in ancient times. But this stuff was royalty stuff. Very skilled craftsmen could produce epic glass creations. But right around 100 BC they started making glass easier to achieve... They invented a technique called Glass Blowing somewhere in the middle east. Then it became cheaper and cheaper since then.
