So hello dear members I have question for u so i am an ethiopian and raised in ethiopia as in many household my parentes belivied in physical punishement and they used it when i do wrong and they didnot stoped it when there relativies or friends do it to me mostly i think i was the aschegari kid compared to my sibilings and now i am about to hv a child So to make this short wht do u guys think about physical punishement like spanking,bitting,meqontat kicking is it a right way to raise a kid?

well depends i mean i was like u been beaten and stuff and like aschegari hulam alneberkum the thing that is hard is like balancing that side with the way u show ur love cuz I was raised by my grand parent they have experience and now that i'm all grown up we usually look back to those days and laugh and I saw everything they did as a lesson rather than hold a grudge. beat ur kids if need be but show them love more.

I rly don't think so, cuz am 16 and I was punished like that too and you know what I feel, I'm traumatic& when I think of those moments I still shiver,cry and not get enough sleep(cuz am afraid). So tnx for asking this question.and don't do it.raise kids as you want to be raised.
