Apr 02, 2021Feminism at its origin is a basic idea about how humans should be treated equally regardless of their gender. However in the 21st century, those who claim to be feminist just because they are female are leading it through a bad route, which is alienating the sexes. Feminism isn't bad, it's original idea is great and should be common sense. But some of the people that are practicing some atrocious thinking label themselves as such, giving it a bad name, which is quite sad. You can think of it in this way, Islam is a religion that is of peace, yet there are some people who kill people in the name of it, distorting what the religion stands for. So would it be conducive to think of Islam as a hateful religion, because some under it do bad things in its name? The answer to me is no. Feminism is like that as well.
