Why is it depressing that I try to be close with my friends, classmates but always end up being left out, as if I don't exist. They don't take me seriously, nor notice me at all. What should I do

Mar 23, 2021Yea... I used to feel like that once... Actually I was exaggerating but ya I think I know your feeling. The thing is they don't respect you... They really don't ena you don't have to showcase your awesomeness for them to realize you are their friend. You cant just wish for respect... You have to earn it. How? By being yourself... By first respecting yourself. Peoples who respect themselves don't become friends with those who undervalue their opinions, who try to outshine on the consequence of their friends failure. General advise... Dont be friends with those who dont respect you. And yes you may not be such a respect worthy person, if that's the case earn the respect you want... Dont just wish for it. And remember good friends are not those that you know overnight, they are not those who have fun with you, be with you when you have money and ditch you when they value you as useless. They grow together, they respect each other! Its better to be lonely than have a fake friend.
