This is for the girls. When people ask me if I’m a feminist I say I’m not because most feminists I know took everything too far ena I feel masculinity from the word. Westerns made me hate the word. Ena do I have to call my self a feminist just because I’m a girl?? Can’t I do my part with out the ‘tag’?! It always bothers me how my friends react to this.

Those who say otherwise and are belittling men have strayed from the meaning of the word. The emphasis of feminists is on women because women are the ones that are considered “less than” men and they’re the ones told they aren’t capable of most things. No, you do not have to be a feminist to be a woman. But being a feminist doesn’t mean taking it too far and degrading men. I am a woman and a feminist because I believe women should be treated equally.

Mar 18, 2021You don't need a label to care and fight for females, like you don't need a label to say crime is wrong. Actually labels make people act in a certain manner and only in that manner. Basic human decency doesn't need you to act in a predefined manner, full of concepts fed to you by someone that came up with that ideology. We should treat the notion that women and men should be given equal opportunity as a given and norm, rather than something that only adheres to a label and can be practiced only under that label umbrella.

Lots of people simply have a general media built idea of what it is enji they don't know the core values and theories behind the terms. But feminism preaches that equality of opportunity isn’t enough, rather equality of outcome prevail too. Also they’re using feminism as a way to inject the ridiculous list of genders they’ve come up with nowadays as feminism is somewhat relatable by many.
