I am og feminist Feminism has helped lots of girls and women to survive this world, society, and for their rights to be respected. The main ideology of feminism is to give women choice and support them. Women may choose to be a housewife and takecare of their family while the husband provides for them or she may choose to be educated and build her career. Whichever it is feminism supports it. Feminism has reduced the number of early marriages(which is literally pedophilia), female genital mutilation, it has helped women to have equal pay for equal job, rapist used to get away with simple penality but now there are changes. So no feminism is not a cancer to society, it helps ur mother, sister, daughter and wife have their rights respected. But the modern day feminism is the most dumbest thing to ever occur but that shit is in the developed country not here.

Nowadays people think feminist as bunch of angry women who thinks they r superior than man and can live on this world without men but feminism is the belief in social, economic, and political equality of the sexes. So true feminist doesn't think they r superior than men or smtg they create opportunities for women to work equally as men and fight for women right. There are many yt vds u can check em out

The ideology by itself is not bad. I would say it is pretty constructive for countries like Ethiopia. Just think about the female population in the rural area. They are not given equal opportunity as their male counterparts. The true ideology of feminism that supports the equality of right between men and women can make a huge difference in the rural population and if more efforts are made it might also lead to the improvement of the general literacy rate of Ethiopia or even the overall economy. I would say at some point you are right feminism should be an ideology that gives both men and women equal human and democratic rights but those people in developed countries are taking it too far and at this rate it's hard to take them as feminists. They are just peoples who have inferiority complex against men and peoples who blame their shortcomings and laziness on successful men. So I don't think calling them feminists would be fair for the real ones.

Yes I call myself a feminist. Feminism isn't against men. It's only and only supporting women to get the place they deserve in life. I have seen a lot of comments given to feminism in other countries. And I have to admit, they took it too far smh. And seeing popular feminist's campaign or whatever just ruined the idea of feminism and the good work of other feminists in undeveloped countries. They are annoying in general. But it ain't cancer for a society in Ethiopia. It's a cure.

Dude they just created the anti-manspreading chair which prevents men from spreading their legs and encourage women to spread their legs WTFFFFF? I also just saw a feminist teaching how to cheat on men and get away with it. Don't get me wrong I love the feminism that gave women the right to vote etc But modern feminism is so toxic and sexism against men . modern Feminism is cancer.
