Hello there y'all I was christian before, then i revert to Islam. All my friends are Christians, i Dont look like Islam phenotypically even my name is a Christian name... Due to these reasons it became hard for me to talk to muslim Girls I don't know what to say and idk many Muslim girls. So what shall i do??
Mar 11, 2021Look, I might not help because I might look like someone who doesn't understand your struggle. As a Muslim girl who came from a Muslim family, both my mom and I have Amharic names. I really hate it when people say 'oh but your name is Christian' and I say 'well I didn't know that e.g. 'patience (tigist)' converted to Christianity!' We have to change that mindset, it's as if everything Amharic is inherently Christian. That's unless your name is only biblically related and not found in the Quran. E.g. It's okay to name yourself Yosef or Yonas buy not okay to name Gebremedhin.

Anyways, I don't think you should concern yourself with that right now. First, settle with consistent Muslim guy friends, without leaving out your old friends unless they are toxic. Find your own soul before looking for a soulmate. Personally, neither I nor my friends have any prejudices against reverts. I envy them because of their faith. We were given the privilege to grow up in an Islamic environment but some of us including me take it for granted.
