Mar 07, 2021I'm usually quiet, introverted with an expressionless face. When I got into uni I decided I should act somewhat hyper and chatty with my new friends. During lockdown, I started writing my whole life since childhood, analyse my phases and the evolution of my character. It was the times that I tried to smile like a Cheshire cat, joke without thinking twice or act as if I'm a feta yalech type of girl that made me regret the most. I was not being honest with myself or anyone, made a lot of mistakes, and strived to please everyone(I still don't think it's wrong to keep a healthy relation with everyone, but it drains and swallows you up especially when you haven't reached that level of character development and maturity). What made me act that way (not only in uni but also sometime during middle/highschool) is the fact that people judged me because of my quiet and cold demeanor; the presumption that straight faced people are rude, unapproachable, or have no consideration for others' feelings
