Everyone, if u had seen Mastewal Wendwossen's interview on Seifu show, what do u think about Tigist saying that rape isn't just a forced sexual intercourse. Physical abuse, harassment, sexualizing/objectifying the victim, verbal assault...all of these are traumatizing and should be considered as rape. Do u agree or not?

Mar 01, 2021I don't think they can all be classified as rape, that's just illogical. However they should also be acts punishable by law. Rape by it's definition is forced sexual intercourse. It would be like saying murder and beating up someone is the same. The punishment levels differ and they should because they aren't the same thing but I agree with making the law stricter.
