Apr 15, 2021I don't think this is necessarily psychology but, when you experience love you're body/brain releases chemicals like Dopamine and Oxytocin through your body so you're practically high (since thats what all feel good drugs help you experience) most of the time, and if the person you feel love too doesn't feel the same and ends up ending the relationship you will experience withdrawal because your body got used to those chemicals in your body that once your brain stops releasing those chemicals you will start to experience depression (short term or maybe long term depending on how well you accept it) and sadness until eventually your body officially recovers.
