So i want to ask a question regarding addis ababa. So as everyone is aware there is a struggle for addis. But the question is, is addis ababa that much of a big deal? Addis is just a city. Its not a farm land, it doesn’t have gold, it doesn’t have lake, it doesn’t have any resources to sustain itself, it even gets electricity from the southern region🤷♀️. The only unique thing about addis is that it has a concentrated population which means more activity and more money. So if u take that away then addis is basically just 500 square km of land only🤷♀️. So why is everyone making such a big deal. I mean look at welayta, one of the countries 2nd biggest hydroelectric project is being built there. It will have the capacity to light up the whole nation. And the people that live there are omotic and they are native to that land and have a legitimate claim. So if we fight over addis today then whats gone happen when all the projects are over? If we all claim this and that then what do u think will happen? 🤔🤔 just a question
