Guys, I was trying to calculate the population of zones(shewa, wolega, illubabur, jimma, arsi, hararge, bale, borena, guji) in oromia region according to the 2007th census. And the most populous zone is shewa zone. Feb 22, 2021Eski lemme put down my guess. As it is Oromia ke Cultural settlement gar layayzew. Endemitay kehone West Oromias are too green and forest while Shoa is green and most parts are not as forest as the west whilst South and East Oromia are not much that green. So, as Shoa land is the most suitable for farming, it could be given to Shoan tribe with a piece of suitable farmland. So as Mecha land is dominantly a forest, it is against a norm to deforest even though Westerns are most populous. So it is given wide land. So as South and east is a desert, they turn their faces to pastoral life than farming. So Pastoral life requires wide ranges of land. I think this is how it is given.
