Plus they might be seen as 'slut' or in masculine case 'girly' if they ask their friends about it. Anonymity gives us confidence.

It is the ONLY concern of society. Listen to all most all music played, see almost all movies made, read almost all books written... every facet of “society” except religion has sex and relationship at its center.

I think most of owr society is fully concentrate on relationship. Rather than knowledge. In ma point of view.
