Hello guys I've noticed that almost all psychiatrists write notes when talking to the patient. What do you think about that? Does it have influence on the way the patient responds to the different questions asked by the psychiatrist? If you think that it has influence, what ways can you think of to record valuable information other than writing? Ps- I considered the very obvious way is to record video or audio, but i think that might not be as effective as live interaction with the patient to triangulate to the area of the issue. Feb 15, 2021I think they will prefer the note taking instead of video or audio that might be too invasive for the patient's privacy Also i don't think it has influence on the way patient response
