i am habesha and live in canada, im It student and also work in it and the problem is i moved out of my moms place 3 yrs ago &ever since i moved out my mother thinks that i should get married and i dont think i can cause i got out of a hurtful r/n ship and currently am focused on my school and career at the same time i dont want my mom to feel bad cause she,raised me with out a dad and,i love her soo much pls help me, i am confused and i dont know what to do

If you want to focus on school and career, you should keep doing that. Plus you have to heal from your last relationship right?. I know you worry about your mom to but you won't bring her what she want if you're not happy yourself. Also You have to be in a healthy relationship to get married in the first place. your not supposed to get married bc your mom or someone else said so.there is going to be kids involved once you marry. you can't marry someone in a rush.what you can do is foucs on your school till you heal then, when you do get a gf (a girl you like or interested in by dating her ) make sure to introduce her to your mom when you know eachother well and that will calm her down I suppose .with time after knowing the girl and see if she is compatable you will marry.With time true colours are shown
