Just because the majority of the female population don't like being catcalled, it doesn't mean there are girls who don't like being catcalled. As a matter of fact, there are. I have heard girls say, quote unquote, "If I dress up well for the day and the day passes by without me being catcalled, I would likely think I wasn't attractive at all." Which means catcalling validates their beauty. In a sense, it secures their self-confidence and likely, boosts their self-esteem too. It might be easy to judge saying, "Why would any girl would need a validation for her attractiveness from a man? Or a woman? Or anyone at all?" (We might even think its revolting. Well it mostly gets to that point. Imagine nobodies coming at you with lame ass lines, sexual remarks, lascivious glares, and...AND it gets even better...imagine being grabbed/slapped in the ass, being touched/grabbed on the boobs and being brushed in the groin by kids, by juveniles, by adults, and even by older homo sapience. And.., and, yeah, it gets even more better...because by a natural reflex, when you turn around to glare at them or sometimes ask, what the fuck? (Because, what the fuck, right?!), they are audacious enough to tell you, "I know you liked it. Stop being pretentious." I am sorry i digressed but, that being said, yes there are girls who like being catcalled in a healthy way (I presume) and this piece of information sometimes gets to dudes' head and since generalization and stereotyping are like the things we couldn't toss in a toilet, they assume all girls like being catcalled. We are peculiar people. Our mentality functions differently (I mean, no fucking shit). Some girls might like it, some girls might not. The majority of girls don't (I included). Catcalling sounds too cute and too simple for a phrase but Ethiopia's catcalling is a new level. Especially, in crowded places. Most people have zero decency; they are obscene.
