5th Do you question the credibility of your math text book just because you don't understand it? Isn't math text book our guide for learning then why is it hard to understand? There are 2 kinds of people who question the people the 1st are the one's who are really curious to know more about God and the 2nd ones are the ones who don't want the truth but they question to disagree with the bible. So in any of this case it is either you didn't read it or you could'nt understand it. Why? Bible is the word of God it has a holy spirit in it. It reveals the truth of the bible when you are spiritually connected with God cuz only those hearts are the ones truly searching to know more about God. So my answer is if people read it as a random history book there is a high probability they will say there are inaccuracies but when you are guided by the holy spirit it reveals the truth of the bible. Additionally bible is not just a moral and ethics guide it's beyond that. You don't read the bible to conduct your moral and ethics value you read the bible to know more about God and to conmect with God more. And at what angle are you asking? to disapprove? or to truly learn more about bible? I hope it is the second one. Sorry for making it long but inorder to answer it was unavoidable so if you don't reply there is a high probability you are here just to disagree with the bible. Have a good day!!

1st It is not just culture, science, history, literature,...that is written. It shows The greatness of the almighty God and how he communicated with humans. 2nd There are around 7,000 languages around the world and not all can learn hebrew, greek, english,... and since the main goal of Christianity is preaching gospel all over the world, it is easier to reach people through their own language. God created languages and any language can be used to preach and praise God. Plus the differences come also from the interpretation generally there are 3 methods - Formal equivalence (word-to-word) - Functional equivalence (thought-to-thought) - Optimal equivalence (word-to-word & thought-to-thought) So depending on the method to translate they can have a different wording but will still have the same meaning. For example: It's easier for me to read a bible translated by functional method cause it has easier wordings but some still may prefer the formal one. So I would say this methods and the translations are what helped Christianity spread fast. 3rd "Inaccuracies and Inconsistencies" you say but where are those? those phrases are used among non-Christians as a "general idea" of the bible cause they do not believe in it. But nobody would mention a verse or a thought they say is inaccurate. Plus anybody who claims thathe bible is inaccurate shows they have not read ancient history at all. Most names and stories in ancient history books comes from the bible. So how could you say it is inaccurate when other history books also refer the same thing? 4th - God is against violence of any human kind as you can see in the 10 commandments. -Murder: God did not murder but punished those who violated the Sovereignty of God and the divine law. For example: In the U.S.A there is a law describing murder is a crime but they still killed bin laden cause he violated the sovereignty and the law of U.S.A and many countries. - Slavery: What is slavery? the slavery we know of is racism-slavery. In Hebrew slavery is translated as servants -> people who serve their masters which in modern way translates to employer and employee. In the bible there are two kinds of slavery one is a person who serves with a wage and the other who serve with no wage (also called bondslaves) they are not slaves due to race or family they are war prisoners on death row so rather than executing them they give their labour in order to be freed of their sentence. There are also many bible verses condemning slavery one of them is Exodus 21:16 16 “Whoever steals a man and sells him, and anyone found in possession of him, shall be put to death. - Homophobia: is hatred for gay peoples but actually the bible tells us to love our neighbours like we love ourselves so we don't hate gay people we are just against the idea of two same sex together. Why? you say, Because in Genesis 1:28 the first word God said after creating human is "be fruitful and multiply" making it a divine law for us humans to obey. And homosexuality is outright violation of this divine law. Plus if God wanted adam to be with a man wouldn't he create another man rather than a women? - Bigotry: As I told you on the previous paragraph the bible tells us to love our our neighbours like we do ourselves. So there is no space for bigotry. - Chauvinism: First there are many powerful and strong female figures mentioned in the bible plus the word 'man' in the bible doesn't necessarily mean or translates to male but a person or a human. In the amharic bible 'man' is translated as 'ሰው'. Also the bible as I told you earlier is about God, humans and their relationship. In ancient times there was a huge gap between a woman and man and the bible shows this things as they truly are because it is the word of God it doesn't twist stories to peoples liking or to what people would want to believe making it even impossible to call it untrue or false. Plus the bible talked highly of women and on proverbs we can see solomon used 'she' to refer to 'wisdom'.
