There are different methods of studying
1) ACTIVE LEARNING METHOD
Here is how it is done:
- Divide the titles and the subtitles of the topic you will study that day and write them on a separate paper
- Study and understand each of them well
- Write a short note (d/t paper from which you wrote the titles and subtitles)
- After an hour or a day try to remember what you studied just by looking at just the titles and subtitles no short note, no book, no guide or whatsoever and if you feel confident you can try to remember without them too.
2) REPETITIVE STUDY METHOD
Here is how it is done:
- Easily it is repeating what you have learned over different range of time
- Repeat the active learning method
- After studying try to remember without a book the next day then the next week, then the next two weeks, then after a month
- And the next time you are asked about that topic you will remember it without any effort.
3) POMODORO TECHNIQUE
Here is how it is done:
- Studying the whole day makes you tired easily
- This method let's you divide minutes of study and rest
- Mostly it is used in 25 mins of study and 5 mins of rest format but you can change them according to what works the best for you.
- I usually use it as 55 mins of study and 5 mins of rest format then after repeating it 5 times I will take a one hour rest.
- To accommodate your own format first observe yourself at about how many mins of study you lose concentration and according to that you can create your own.
4) REWARD AND PUNISHMENT SYSTEM
Here is how it is done:
-What is the most valuable think you have everyday or do everyday?
- From that point the most valuable thing for you is your reward and punishment for studying and for not studying respectively.
- Mine is wifi if I study I get to use wifi and if not no wifi until I open my book.
- If it is hard for you to derive yourself from the valuable thing for you ask your parents or friends for help. Example: I give my sis my phone and tell her not to give me until I finish my study according to my schedule.
5) HAVE A SCHEDULE
6) IMAGINE YOU ARE STUDYING FOR A PRESENTATION
- When you study only to understand for yourself and when you study to explain it to other people the result is different as the night and day.
- You can use this by actually explaining to a friend or a family or you can just try to explain it to the wall.
- If you are not able to explain it don't just pass it try to find other sources that explain it well other than your book.
-It is hard to explain to others without understanding it first so if you have explained it to your friend and they understand it well congratulations! you have understood the topic well.
7) START WITH "I CAN DO IT" SPIRIT
- Starting with "studying is boring" is what blocks everything from moral to study to actually learning and understanding what is wrote on the book so start with "Studying is fun" and like a magic you will have fun studying.
- There is no hard subject there is only hard to understand subject. So if you think that some subject is hard it means you have not understand it well and that comes from not studying well. So if you don't understand the book, find other sources which easily explain the topic it maybe a guide book, a friend, a teacher, a tutor, website on the internet (like article, blog, app, youtube,..)
- There is "SENEF" and "GOBEZ" and the only two difference between them is the first tend to take more time to understand a subject and the later takes a small time to understand a subject Second their other difference is the gobez students tend to put more effort in to understanding than the students called senef who put small or no effort. So if people say you are senef it's because of this two reasons you don't understand the subject and you don't even put the effort you must. But don't feel guilty or discouraged you have a lot of time you can start to fix that starting right now.
Use this methods to study, understand and encourage yourself and I am wishing you all the luck
Sorry for making this an essay. I hope it helps😊
