Hi guys this is for doctors in here so my mom is pregnant 36weekes and 3days n yesterday she hv check up n the ultrasound says that the baby hv bliateral hydrophrosis mibal ngr what I need to ask is is this thing serious ? And what will happen after birth ? Thanks 😊
Jan 27, 2021U meant bilateral hydronephrosis? If so its a disease where the urine passage of the baby is blocked so the kidney is enlarged usually its not a serious case maletm it resolves after the baby is born after a while mnamn but rarely occurs a serious case when theres infection, kidney damage mnamn so i dont think u should worry but its better tobecareful and to do regular checkup Hope it helps
