I have a pretty straight forward qn here. I've seen a lot of posts on here about how med school is the worst and that it's sooo hard menamen and personally that couldn't be further from the truth. I'm an intern now and I've been in med school for like 5 year. All i have to say about my experience is that it's been the highlight of my life. Sure it's a bit tougher than other fields but what ppl don't understand is that you also have a lot of time to discoverd who you rly are and just peruse that. I've always done my part and studied and I've always had good grades I've never rly been stressed out I've never even lost a single night of sleep over any of it . I've made frnds that will last me a life time and done all the things any college student does. I don't feel like I've missed out on anything rather i feel like I've experienced more because I'm a med student. So my point is, is it just me?
Dec 14, 2019Yes, it was easy for u but don't act like u haven't seen a lot of ur classmates struggling to go on. U know damn well that it's not cuz they're lazy or not studying that they're struggling..it's just harder to get used to for some of us. I can honestly say that I was raised stress free until I joined med school. But what I have gained from med school is a severe anxiety attack n moderately good grades. I could have easily been the best anywhere else n I say that with confidence!
