I am a man and give great value to marriage.

I think Ethiopian women unlike others how we raised & our society culture has an impact about Marriage. Honesty, which I couldn't get it as a woman right now. So most divorce issues right now is cause of married women than me. Cause I don't think women really get how to manage marriage right now. For me Marriage is an institution that two different individuals come together as a one to accept their differences & tolerate each other. It needs a common understanding & try to win together.

In my opinion, i think the thought is planted in our heads by the society. Single women above 35 are usually sympathized for even tho there's nothing wrong with it. "ቆማ ቀረች" like marriage is the one thing she's made for. But for men it usually isn't that big of a deal. In fact, a lot of men think of it as a bad thing. They don't wanna settle down. Women aren't allowed to think like that, they're told to stay virgins 'till they meet the one, or get married. It's kinda sad if you think about it.
