Even if we assume that one particular religion is true, doesn't the existence of many religions at least prove that mankind likes to make up religious stories, and that people have a tendency to believe them? How do you know yours isn't one of those?
Jan 08, 2021U used logic let me give u answer with logic for example there are around 100 million people in 2007 and when u go backward the population decreases and on and on and finally u would get 1 male and 1 female and i wonder 💁♂ who created them
Jan 08, 2021OMG, greatfully said! I'm an atheist and I still question same, but the tendencies of people to believe in religion, in my opinion there are 2 reasons. 1. When people wants to give their life meaning. I guess adding religion and the creator, will give them at least a lil bit meaning to their life. 2. Being born in a religious family. Children are like white paper, they will believe what ever you told em.

1. we don't know if humans r the one making religion stories & in my belief the difference is easy... there is one & only one truth but there r many lies that can be fabricated using that truth so if i believed in one religion that's my truth the rest is just a lie... 2. Faith

Jan 08, 2021that's a weak argument for the non existence of of religion. using the same logic, just because there are different schools of thoughts in psychology does not mean psychology is a bunch of non sense garbage. we just can not prove it and experiment on it profoundly the way we would in tangible things.
Jan 08, 2021From where does those single cells prokaryotes come from?
Jan 08, 2021Barbie i appreciate ur questions i swr hule mtteykiw gerami gerami tyake new even tho ene mnm idea'w baynoregnm malet new🙄
Jan 08, 2021We may seem dt but we all are the same islam has shytan orthodox has belzeboob or satan budhism has ahrima in general we worship the same thing in dt way since all religions hv common enemy that's satan
Jan 08, 2021If so, then are you an ominist? And you know, in orthodox in the Bible it says,"you shall not worship abother god", so it's a bit hard to say that all religions are same in believer's view
Jan 08, 2021👏 Nice question
Jan 08, 2021Dear Barbie, I want to be up front with you, I am a Christian. Do you know where I got my beliefs from? Its from the bible, the bible is a collection of 66 books(27 new testament books, 39 old testament books) written by 40 different authors, in Greek&Hebrew languages, over a period of 1,500 years. All 66 books agree with each other non of them contradict each other. This is a scientifically proven historical fact of the bible. I believe that the bible is the infallible, inspired word of God (the word of the majesty on high, the first cause, the creator) Because many reasons. For example 👇 * prophecies fulfilled . The time gap between the last book of the bible in the old testament (ትንቢተ ሚልክያስ) and the first book of new testament (የማቴዎስ ወንጌል) is about 400 years! Yet the prophets of the old testament wrote about the birth, the cross, the resurrection and the work of Jesus Christ hundreds years before Christ. For example the prophet Isaiah's book(ትንቢተ ኢሳያስ) was written 700 years before the birth of Christ Jesus. He said this👇 "6 For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counseller, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace." (Isaiah 9:6) "14 Therefore the Lord himself shall give you a sign; Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel." (Isaiah 7:14) 700 years later, an Angel shows up at the door of a virgin called Mary 👇 (Luke Chap. 1) ---------- 34 Mary said to the angel, "How can this be, seeing I am a virgin?" 35 The angel answered her, "The Holy Spirit will come on you, and the power of the Most High will overshadow you. Therefore also the holy one who is born from you will be called the Son of God. 👉To my knowledge there are at least *50* prophecies like the above about Christ Jesus that got fulfilled hundreds years later. Why stop on the written word? 👉What about the supernatural miracles being done in the name of Jesus today. 👉 what about the Lives being changed by the gospel of Jesus Today! when somebody truly repents and believes in Jesus Christ, God supernaturally changes them into a new person (I have personally experienced this) because God said this 👇 "17 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things have become new." (2 Corinthians 5:17) Personally, I used to have heart ill conditions, lung problems because I used to smoke day and night and i didn't know any of the things I wrote to you above, I thought life was all point less and I was Jaded, I used to practice easter spirituality, dark rituals Of Yoga, I was messed up and tormented. But Thank God one day I found out about Lord Christ Jesus, i put my faith in him and things happened now i'm completely Healed. People who knew my old self say to me "you are different" and I get embarrassed when I remember things I used to do in the past. God gave me a new heart, shifted my preferences transformed my mind, all by grace through faith in Christ Jesus. Thus👇 "Religion gives you laws, fantasies, rules to follow but Jesus Christ gives you a real relationship with God, he gives you a new heart. So barbie, to sum up the central message of the true christian Faith is this 👇 (John Chap. 3) ---------- 16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. 17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. Barbie, If you are not joking around and if you are genuinely concerned about the truth, message me, we can talk further, i can expose all the deceptive lies that pose as "Religion" and prove Jesus Christ is the way, the truth and the life.👇 "12 And in no other is there salvation: for there is no other name under heaven, given among men, through which we may have salvation." (Acts of the Apostles 4:12)
Jan 08, 2021I will not argue with you
Jan 08, 2021Because i do
Jan 08, 2021Youre talking logic, Faith doesn't obey logic, just feel it inside you
Jan 08, 2021✅ u are right mankind likes to fabricate stories but I know mine is not one of them. I saw from the above comments that u just have to have faith or u can't prove it with logic or u just feel it. This are all a really weak argument. For instance if an orthodox person says i feel the existence of God so does the protestant he also says I feel the existence and love of God ur feel is not gonna prove anything. First if u wanna know the truth u have gotta have an open a really openminded mind. I said in the above that I know my religion is one of the fabricated ones. Let me why bcoz I don't follow my religion just bcoz of faith but also it is logical and scientifically correct too. Let me tell u lil bit about Islam(Don't forget to be openminded :) Allah created the first human Adam and Eve and from an incident he told Adam that shaytan is his clear enemy so not to be decieved by him then after many years as the population increased when the people started disbelieving then he sends a message from one them as a messenger to remind them who their God is and what their purpose in life is. There were many messengers for many people. And Jesus(Isa) was one of them he was sent his people to remind them their creator is but as most of them didn't believed they asked them to show some proof that he is from God he showed them some miracles like healing the blind ,bringing back the dead but he didn't do any of it by himself but by the permission of his creator. Jesus is not the only one who was asked a miracle as a proof almost all prophets did. Then the last prophet to minkind was Mohammed(pbup). He was a messenger for the people at his to the people until the judgement day. He is the last bcoz we don't need a prophet to get the teaching with advancement of mankind we know exactly what his techings were. Mohammed(pbuh) also asked for a proof from his people he showed them like the splitting of the moon and others not by his own but by the permission of his creator. Bcoz they had the right to ask for proof some of them believed some of them said it was magic and desbelieved. The Quran was sent as a guidance for Mohammed(pbuh) and for his people including us. It was sent 1400 years ago. Time to be logical---》 I can show u or u can search on Youtube scientific miracles of the Quran. If we assume that Islam is false then the Quran wouldn't be devine and the Quran would have been written by Mohammed as the desbelievers claim, Do u think he would know 1400 years ago : The expanding of the universe? The exact proportion of earths land and water? The exact embryonic devlopment? The fact that bees have 16 chromosomes and 2 bellies and they produce honey in their bellies? The fact that ants communicate and have societies? About the stars Serius A and Series B and when they come together? The fact that every living creatures is created from water? About property of super water? The fact that the Sun is eventually gonna die? The fact that the sun rotates around uts own axis? . . Those are really small portion of it? Do u still think Islam is a fabricated religion with no logic? I suggest u see a youtube video called "Why Islam is rationally the truth" By a channel called "The people of Islam"
Jan 09, 2021I don't compare my religion with others, for me the 2 are incomparable things of diffrent kind, I don't consider them as religions but as worldy ideologies created from humans' tendency to find their God.
Jan 08, 2021Barbie Now, let me address your question more fully. Humans naturally like and believe religion and make up religions because in us we have something called a conscience(ሕሊና) this part of our being is like a stamp on a shoe that says 'Made In Vietnam' it tells you the origin of the shoe, our conscience also says, " You are a creature and there is a creator that holds you responsible for the actions you take" So we make idols, make temples, make up myths, make ceremonies because we have a hole in our hearts which no one can fill except God. God made us this way because he wanted us to search for him👇 " The God who made the world and all things in it, he, being Lord of heaven and earth, doesn't dwell in temples made with hands, neither is he served by men's hands, as though he needed anything, seeing he himself gives to all life and breath, and all things. He made from one blood every nation of men to dwell on all the surface of the earth, having determined appointed seasons, and the boundaries of their dwellings, that they should seek the Lord, if perhaps they might reach out for him and find him, though he is not far from each one of us. 'For in him we live, and move, and have our being.' As some of your own poets have said, 'For we are also his offspring.' Being then the offspring of God, we ought not to think that the Divine Nature is like gold, or silver, or stone, engraved by art and design of man. The times of ignorance therefore God overlooked. But now he commands that all people everywhere should repent, because he has appointed a day in which he will judge the world in righteousness by the man whom he has ordained; of which he has given assurance to all men, in that he has raised him from the dead."" - (Acts of the Apostles የሐዋርያት ስራ Chapter 17: 26-31) So even though we love religions and believed in nonsense century after century 2000 years ago God revealed himself through his son Jesus Christ, 👇 (Hebrews Chap. 1:1-3) God, having in the past spoken to the fathers through the prophets at many times and in various ways, has at the end of these days spoken to us by his Son, whom he appointed heir of all things, through whom also he made the worlds. His Son is the radiance of his glory, the very image of his substance, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself made purification for our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high" so now all we need to do is admit we are sinners and Acknowledge that Jesus died on the cross to pay for our sins, and believe in our heart God raised Jesus from death and confess with our mouth that Jesus is lord. And start living a righteous life👇 (Romans Chap. 10) ---------- 9 that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 For with the heart, one believes unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. 11 For the Scripture says, "Whoever believes in him will not be disappointed."
Jan 08, 2021So? Then what? So no God? No true religion? Just because many scientific hypothesises are wrong doesn't mean there's no correct one. It's a mute point. You can criticize each belief and try to see if it's true. But that in no way speaks the truth of other beliefs.
Jan 08, 2021There are more than 500 religions in the world and don't worry yours is the only one that can enter heaven the other will burn in hell for eternity how fair and merciful your God is
Jan 08, 2021May I talk to you personally, please?
Jan 08, 2021Well for christians, it was orthodox the first religion that st. Peter told us the one and only way of reaching God and we should strictly keep that. The other religions are established by peoples according to their needs.
