Jan 02, 2021In my opinion To forgive doesn't mean you accept their wrong deeds or to forget what happened but it's to let go of the past & make peace for the present & future. So the person who's asking for an apology is giving his/her words not to repeat that same mistake in the future & is asking for you to let go of the past or what happened. Well if someone takes your forgiveness as a weakness, that's his/her problem not yours. Forgiving will give peace of mind for the forgiver. And forgiving won't assure 100% that person won't repeat his mistake. If that person repeats same mistake again then that's not a mistake but he/she chooses to lose you forever.
