Any ladies in here who have missed their period after taking a post pill? Help
Dec 01, 2019Hey. I'm a medical student. Emergency contraceptive should be taken within 72 hours after sex and the effectiveness is from 75%(combined drug) - 88% (progesterone only drug). Menstrual irregularities and delayed menses are common side effects. If you took the drug within 72 hours I think you will be safe. But also know that they're not 100% effective.

Dec 01, 2019Its normal you should get it within a week or so, i mean after you take the pill if not Maybe it skipped the month But check for early pregnancy signs if you are concerned

Dec 01, 2019If you didn't take it soon after sex it might not work sometimes...its effective after sex may be like after 24 hrs max
