if by free you meant free thought then I would say no. Because behind every decision you make is the reason that you make that decision and behind that chains of other decisions. simple example here,let's say I'm trying to prove to you that free will exists. then I state "if I wanted to be a beggar right now I would be ". now do you see what I mean? the reason i would have been a beggar isn't purely of free thought but rather to prove something to you. so if I take you out the equation then I wouldn't have thought this. in short I would argue that every thought has a natural proclivity towards other thoughts or under the influence of other thoughts if you may.
